Honda has unveiled the 2009 Honda Accord and it’s wagon version, the Accord Touring for Europe and it will be released at the 2008 Geneva Motor show, next month. The new Accord looks like the 2009 Acura TSX, unveiled not too long ago in the U.S.
The new Accord will come with three engine options, all Euro 5 compliant, as following: an i-DTEC diesel that produces 148 hp, and 258 pound feed of torque at 2,000 rpm, a 2.0L i-VTEC that produces 154 hp and a 2.4L 4-cylinder that produces almost 200 hp and 172 foot pounds of torque. Those three engines come with 6-speed manual transmission and the gas engines clients can opt for a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The interior is elegant and futuristic, with expensive materials, like all Honda cars. It’s exterior design has nice lines and offers a line of sobriety. We will be able to buy the new Honda Accord before the new Acura TSX, probably after the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.
