Mini is preparing to unveil a new JCW Cooper S at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, in March and it will come with upgraded turbocharger, pistons, air intake, brakes, wheels, ECU, exhaust, clutch and transmission. The new Cooper S’s engine will probably produce 210 to 220 hp with a torque of up to 206 lb-ft and will feature a six-speed transmission with chunkier clutch.
Currently, there haven’t been many informations released, but we know it will reach a top speed of 260 km/h and there will definitely be a significant performance improvement. Most probably it will be available in a hatchback version, Clubman and convertible, along with a Challenge racer especially designed for tracks.
