Finally some news about Jaguar. I was beginning to believe that the British-based automaker will not show up for the Geneva Motor Show, but they surprised us with a press release. Their latest project is called Jaguar XKR Portfolio and it will be available in either Coupe or Convertible version. The 2009 Portfolio will have its debut at Geneva Motor Show next month and it will be available for shipping as of June 2008.
The sports car will feature lightweight aluminum body, 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engine which produces 420 HP and the 6-speed Jaguar Sequential Shift Transmission with paddle-shift gear change. For the exterior they prepared exclusive grey metallic painting, 20-inch Selena wheels, Portfolio trunk signature and Alcon’s Performance braking system.
The interior will feature Soft-grain leather, instrument panel, Rich Oak veneer or Engine Spin Aluminum fascia, alloy and leather shifter and 525W Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system with speakers specially designed for the 2009 XKR Special Edition.
For the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar also announced the 2009MY XK which will be available beginning of April 2008. We can’t wait to see the final products as the Geneva Motor Show is getting closer and closer.
